I am a lover of positive quotes, especially those that encourage living life to the fullest. Today I was scrolling on Instagram and came across this quote. I just had to create an image and share it with you guys.
It is so easy to dwell on your past and get wrapped up in the shoulda, coulda, woulda’s of life. I have been a victim of this myself. We have to constantly remind ourselves that the past is gone and cannot be changed. All that we can do is learn from it and continue to press forward. Not forgetting what has happened, since some memories are wonderful ,but changing what we can in the present and moving forward. Looking to the past in order to learn from it is a good thing. Dwelling on the pastis the problem I want to address. Dwelling on the past only perpetuates thoughts of remorse, sorrow, stress, and depression. Worrying about the future is also, as the young kids say, cray. It’s crazy because we don’t know what is to come. We can only make things happen to prepare us for the future and aid us in becoming the people we want to be.
So remember dwelling on the past or future is completely pointless and it hinders your now. How can you focus on the present if you are dwelling on a time that is gone?
We have to be positive people! Living in the now and making RIGHT NOW as beautiful as it can be.
How are you making your present beautiful?
